Move investigation and routine operations to AI agents, without adding risk
Enterprises spent a decade moving to cloud, microservices, DevOps and now AI. Each wave raised the rate of change and the surface that has to be operated. Operations capacity did not grow at the same rate, and it still depends on people reading signals, gathering evidence and deciding what to do.
This report sets out a framework for that problem, built on the Operational Excellence pillar of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and public research from Flexera, DORA, IBM, Uptime Institute, PagerDuty, Gartner and OWASP. It covers the four areas and five outcomes, a six-layer reference architecture, the agent layer as a new attack surface, nine controls for agents in production, how to evaluate agents on your own incidents, and a 90-day roadmap.
Chapters 1 to 8 make no product claims. Chapter 9 describes how CloudThinker applies the framework. It closes with a leadership checklist you can print and track.
